President condoles Ram Jethmalani's demise
President Ram Nath Kovind paid tribute to Ram Jethmalani. In a Tweet President Kovind said "Saddened by the passing of Shri Ram Jethmalani, former Union Minister and a veteran lawyer. He was known to express his views on public issues with his characteristic eloquence. The nation has lost a distinguished jurist, a person of great erudition and intellect."


In the discussions, Hannah Fisher, the Programming Head of Heartland International Film Festival of USA suggested that there could be a special focus on India for the festival commencing on the 10 of October 2019 under the 'Foreign Language Category. She said that this would help in enhancing the Golden Jubilee edition IFFI 2019 to the participants & the International audience. As part of IFFI & policy outreach, the Indian Delegation also met senior representatives from the Global-gate Entertainment. They agreed to sensitize the 50th IFFI, Goa & suggested to provide names of eminent directors, film-makers, producers & actors which can be invited to IFFI this year.
